Standard 1223 PC Terminal SLA
This Photogenic "1223 Pressure Contact Sealed Lead Acid Battery" is a pretty standard part that is not actually manufactured by Photogenic. If you have more than one AKB-1 you probably already know that though because they ship with different brand batteries all the time. That being said, purchasing the same exact and identical "SLA 1223 PC Battery" from a generic battery retailer or other online store that doesn't mark this as being from "Photogenic" will get it to you for half the cost.

Works well enough
I purchased this battery as a replacement for one I had that wouldn't hold a charge at all. They don't seem to get the same type of endurance that Photogenic would suggest in their literature and I've only had 2 out of 3 work properly. Test yours as soon as you get it.
