The Photogenic PL1252BK ION Inverter with PL1250DRC 500W/s Flash Head Softbox Kit is an ideal way to bring the benefits of studio lighting into the field independent of AC power. The kit includes an ION Inverter System with battery, a PL1250DRC PowerLight monolight with reflector, an 8.0' light stand and a 22 x 22" Softbox.

The ION Lithium-ion Pure Sine Wave Inverter System allows you to take your studio strobes on the road or off the road without electricity and without noisy generators or bulky old-style inverters. Weighing in at only 3.5 lb including its battery, the Ion measures only 7.5 x 4.4 x 3.3" but is able to deliver hundreds or even thousands of full power flashes depending on the flash head in use. With a fully charged battery the included PL1250DRC will get an impressive 500 full power flashes with a recycling time of 3.8 seconds. Of course, you can double or triple your capacity by simply purchasing extra batteries which can be charged apart from the inverter. Extra chargers are available to charge more than 1 battery concurrently.

The PL1250DRC PowerLight has a color corrected flash tube, a 500W/s output variable over 6.0 stops in 1/10 stop increments and a 250W modeling lamp. The PL1250DRC comes with PL7R High-Gain Reflector and is compatible with the full line of Photogenic flash head accessories. Settings are displayed on an easy-to-read LED screen and are adjusted via convenient push buttons.

The AK22 22 x 22" Softbox features a removable front face and internal baffle and comes with a Photogenic speed ring and a carrying case. It accepts optional fabric grids. The kit is rounded out by a sturdy 8.0' light stand. The included Multi-Clamp allows you to hang the inverter on it.
