Not Just a Piece of Glass

I will never shoot without this filter, protection, great optics, and color. Don't make the mistake of spending thousands of dollars on lenses and fall short on protection.

Excellent Lens Protector

By

from Las Vegas Area  -  Pro Photographer

I notice that this one is perfectly clear unlike some other brands that have a very light yellowish tint. Is the lack of tint a positive or negative in terms of blocking UV light? I really don't know, but this filter is well made and protects the lens and that is the main thing in my opinion.

Peace of mind at a low cost

This is fitted to a 55-300 lens I carry in the wilderness as a line of defense from hazardous branches. Fine quality for the price.

Pro Optic 58mm filter

By

from Spring, Tex  -  Casual Photographer

I use mine for images that are used for my website. I have not used it yet, so I can't really give an accurate rating on it. It seems to be well made, not flimsy, & fits well on my Olympus E510.

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
Marilyn A  It's a lot cheaper to replace a filter than the lens it protects!
Shopper  Does this filter fit the Lumix G X VARIO 12-35mm?
PETER F  You need the same size adapter as the filter mm for any lens you want to use it on.
Shopper  This filter, is it compatible with the HS25EXR?
PAUL B  Fuji has an accessory PRF-58 filter, but I see no reason why the Pro Optic filter wouldn't be acceptable. You can use any manufacturer's filter as long as the diameter is correct.
