Very Pleased

By

from phoenix, arizona  -  Photo Enthusiast

Being as this kit came at no extra charge and was included with my Sigma 24-105mm f/4 lens for Nikon I wasn't expecting too much. But I have to say it does a great job. My only complaint with the Circular Polarizer is that it is a bit stiff to turn. But, maybe it will loosen up as time goes by. Other than that, no complaints, they all work fine.

Functional

The UV is pretty much junk, softens your image terribly. The CPL seems to work well. The ND works, but really could be darker, stack it with the CPL for best effect. The mount rings are poorly machined but work better with dry graphite lube (#2 lead pencil works best.)

Exactly What You Need For Wide Angle

By

from New York, NY  -  Pro Photographer

I bought these for a 16-35mm wide angle lens. These are exactly what you need to avoid vignetting on your images since the filters are mounted to a thin ring. Especially for the price, you cant beat it.

Great for the money

By

from Napoli Italy  -  Pro Photographer

I do like using the Neutral density filter in the kit, but it adds a strange color, almost a green hue to my photos. Its not bad if you know its there, its has a very nice artistic characteristic to it. I recieved this as a gift, its fine, it functions well and i really cant complain much. The only reason I rated it 4 of 5 is due to color shift from the ND. Great starter kit for an entry level photographer.
