These speakers should be avoided like the plague. I ordered three pairs in order to install stereo speakers in three rooms. The sound is mediocre. But the big problem is with the engineering of the mounts. The speakers use four screws to flip out and pull down plastic tabs that support the speaker from above the ceiling. The problem is that the screws go through very soft plastic on the front side of the speakers. Of the six that I tried to install, the screws pulled through the soft plastic on two of the speakers, including one that passed through the plastic even before the flip-out tab made contact with the ceiling. I was amazed that I managed to get four of the six speakers successfully installed. Not willing to wait for a replacement set, I purchased a similarly priced product from a local home improvement retailer. Not exactly an audiophile headquarters but the speakers sounded considerably better than the Pyle Pro PDPC62 speakers and fortunately fit the same size holes in the ceiling. The speakers from the home improvement retailer used a similarly engineered mounting system but the plastic was considerably stronger preventing the screws from pulling through the front surface. Pyle is on my "Never Again" list. It shouldn't take a rocket scientist to install speakers. Oh wait! I am a rocket scientist.

The Pyle PDPC62 6.5" Enclosed Two-Way In-Ceiling Speaker System (Pair) offers a 6.5" midbass speaker, 1" high temperature voice coil and directable 1" polymer dome tweeter. Frequency response is rated at 70Hz to 20KHz and peak power is rated at 200W. The unit is designed for placement in a ceiling and a cutout must be made to accommodate the dimensions of each speaker.
