About Pyle PTCD8UB

The Pyle PTCD8UB Retro Turntable (Black) is designed with the sleek chrome styling of 1950s-era jukeboxes - but it has been updated with technology from the 21st century. The two-speed turntable has a 3" Built-In Speaker and plays records, CDs and MP3 files via the USB port or SD card slot and the radio covers both AM and FM bands. You can also encode your vinyl to MP3 files directly to a USB/SD card, so you can listen to your favorite hits on your digital music player. RCA line out allows you to hook up this turntable to your home theater system for rich, full-bodied audio. You can also listen privately using the 3.5 mm headphone jack.

Questions about this item:

CYNTHIA B B  Which 2 speeds does this unit play? 78, 45 or 33rpm? Does the RCA line out play in stereo?
KAREN L  It plays all three speeds. Not sure exactly what the second question means but when playing a record the sound comes through both speakers. hope this helps.
CYNTHIA B B  Thank you, Karen, for your time & effort in responding. I searched around & came up with a manual for this player. Plays only vinyl for 2 speeds-45 & 33rpm. I guess vinyl wasn't yet invented back when they made the 78s. And yes, a manual photo shows right & left (for stereo) RCA line out jacks. Will be seaching for a higher quality, simpler (no radio) player to encode my vinyl to digital.
J H  Can this unit record directly to CD without the use of a computer?
Andrew R  Unfortunately no, though You can encode your vinyl to MP3 files directly to a USB/SD card. The CD player in this unit is for playback only.
Mark L  Can this unit play CDs?
Andrew R  From the product overview: "The two-speed turntable has a 3" built-in speaker and plays records, CDs and MP3 files"
