Mounting is fast and easy the Turbo AC has a self-contained thread that screws into the socket on the bottom of a camera, and it accepts tripod threads for mounting to a tripod. An included Quantum clamp allows for mounting to a tripod or light stand leg.

Use the Turbo AC in the studio to power your Qflash, shoe or handle mount flash and digital camera simultaneously, with one power source. Questions about this item:

Shopper  Is the TAC factory-preset to 110 - 240V AC? Or do I have to buy optional adapter to operate TAC from 220V AC? Thank You.
TODD F  I use it in a regular household outlet - which I believe is 120VAC. I have not had any problems plugging it into any outlet I have found. I am not 100% sure about the exact voltage. Let me know if there is anything else that I could help you with.
Alfredo F  Also does this item include any of the cables necessary for it to work with the Quantum Q Flash T-5dR Digital? If not, what cables are necessary?
ROBERT P  The Turbo AC uses the Turbo series of cables. A cable comes with the Q-Flash T-5dR that will fit The Turbo AC or any Turbo battery. If you need a replacement cable, look up any Turbo cable that will work with a Quantum Trio, including the CQ8 (standard, long) or CCQ8 (short). As noted, these are the same cables that are interchangeable with battery cables. Note also that a cable comes with new T-5dR units, so if you have that cable you should be in business. Outside of plugging into an outlet the Turbo AC units function as a Turbo C battery, except they will run continuously.
Alfredo F  How many full power flashes would a full-charged Quantum Turbo AC provide?
ROBERT P  Are you talking about the Turbo AC, the Turbo Blade, or the Turbo? The picture does not show the Turbo AC. If you are asking about the Turbo AC, it runs on line current: it's not really a battery; you plug it in, so it will provide full-power flashes all day and the following night, or as long as it's plugged in. The Turbo Blade according to specs will provide around 400 full-powered flashes, but it will provide more if you are using the Quantum QTTL mode, where the flash supplements existing light. The Turbo, according to specs, has lower capacity than the Turbo Blade. Quantum users rarely run out of battery power with newer batteries, and many users have multiple units. Also, the chargers will provide fairly quick charging to minimal power so one can continue shooting.
