Having used a Ricoh at work, this made a great replacement for inkjet printers at home, where the ink constantly dries up quickly. Great color rendering. Prompt scan response, and very easy to use. Upholds the Ricoh image that has grown for me over the years.

good small office all-in-one printer/copier/fax. The quality is of the machine is solid, the output is also as expected from a Ricoh. Good speed. and most importantly the price is unbeatable, given that this is like buying razors, the cartiage will definitely cost more than the printer in the first complete change. The only complain I have is the installation of the drivers on windows 8.1 It did work on 1 out of 3 windows 8.1 machines. but the other 2. I simply added the driver manually on the control panel [add printer] tell windows [have disk] and following the old school installation process.

We bought this printer for my boss's desk, it is fast, quiet and affordable. The print quality is great as well.

I have only had the printer for a few days, but it was easy to set up and I have it connected directly to one computer via usb and another using the network connection (tcp/ip). I have scanned a few items, faxed a few things and printed a number of documents. It warms up quickly and the print quality is very good, although I have not taxed it with anything to extravagant, yet. My home office is very small (converted storage room in my basement) and it is fairly quiet when operating and silent when sleeping. It seems to be built very well - more on the small office scale than a home office, but for the price, it is an excellent choice for either. I have only printed one small color item so I do not want to comment on that aspect.

I'm using this printer in a home office and eventually in a small office environment. I had a Canon color MFP and this beats that one hands down. The Canon took forever to warm up and get out the first print. This one seems to be about 30% faster to the first print. I haven't gotten through the first toner cartridges yet so I don't have anything to say on replacements. My only complaint is that the scan/copy/fax can only read single sided documents. The marketing material on the Ricoh are vague on two-sided scanning and copying. It will only scan single sided - but will print two sided. Also, I'm a Mac user. I haven't yet figured out how to get the scan function set up so it will scan to a network folder. I know it can be done - just haven't spent the time to figure it out. The work-around is easy - just scan to a flash drive (the flash port is extremely convenient on the printer) and then plug the flash drive into my computer. You have to walk to the printer to put the originals in the reader anyway so it isn't a big deal. Scans to both .pdf and .jpg formats. The 'noisy' comment is because of the fans when the unit is running. The fans aren't loud but they do produce a periodic buzz about every 15 seconds - like the fan blades are walking on their axle and periodically come in contact with the fan shroud. it is a bit annoying if you are sitting right next to the printer.
