Red Giant Carousel Vintage Camera Look Software, Supports SD and HD (Download)
The Red Giant Carousel Vintage Camera Look Software is an electronic download of effects that provides ten customizable vintage camera looks for use in FCP X. The looks are designed to evoke the feel of shooting 120 film with plastic toy cameras and now you can add that feel to your video. Carousel works inside of FCP X, so it supports SD and HD video and all codecs supported by FCP X. In addition to the ten camera looks, there are also customizable Light Leaks and Vignettes that you can also add to your footage. The effect attributes are keyframeable, so you can animate the effect over time. Carousel is designed specifically for FCP X and takes advantage of that to provide real time previews of the effects in the FCP X timeline.
Carousel is designed to work with Final Cut Pro X and will only work with FCP X. The advantage of designing for the FCP X architecture is that the effects are drag and drop and preview in real time with no rendering.
Carousel is accessible from the effects area in FCP X and works with the video formats and codecs supported by FCP X.
The customizable vintage camera looks were created using film prints from toy cameras using 120 film. These looks include; Acid Stardust, Electric vision, Enchanted Light, Mars Eyes, Pink Dahlias, Rose Clouds, Strawberry Lemonade, Summer Goth, Tiger Dream and Waves of Azul.
Optical captured light leaks and vignettes are also available, customizable and keyframeable.
Keyframeable settings in the attributes allow you to animate the effect over the length of the clip or project.
