I do not use tripods much. I much prefer a monopod. But let's face it, a tripod is a must have for photographers. The Redged Rtt-330 will do most of what you want a tripod to do, for a reasonable amount of money. I put a Bogen head on mine and I couldn't ask for more. It does the job well. The only drawback is that I can't use the bag it came with with the head attached. Other than that--no gripes here.

The Redged RTT-330 Studio 3-Section Titanium Alloy Tripod is a versatile, lightweight tripod that can take a beating thanks to its top protective layer of hard, durable titanium. Otherwise composed of aluminum alloy, the 3-section legs and two-part center column extend to a generous maximum height of 63.8" and fold down to 26.8".
The RTT-330 includes features that professionals expect: A relatively high load capacity of 15.4 lb, a counter-weight hook for attaching a ballast for added stability during windy shoots and a splittable, reversible center column. At 4.4 lb, this Studio tripod is a great choice for traveling photographers and as the name implies it's also great for general use in a studio.
