Better than I expected!

By

I was very pleased when it arrived and surprised as well. The stand is light but sturdy, air cushioned, easily adjustable and can be used for main light or side light itself. The boom attachment fits several different sizes, has large handles for ease of set up. The boom has a counter balanced weight that screws in and the boom length is also easily adjustable for quick set up. This makes it perfect for back light use. The only negative thing I experienced was having it be on back order for so long. For good reason obviously! Many others feel the same way. A good product at a good price!

Questions about this item:

Dawn T  could I use this stand with the following item? Mfr. Part: VL5070 SKU: FPSSB -Flashpoint soft box light? does it need an adaptor clamp? Thanks!
Andrew R  Yes, the FPSSB softbox should mount on this unit.
h d  what would you need to attach a microphone at the end of the stand?
Amato D  oops- Sorry h d. Got some names confused there, but you get the idea. Depending on what kind of microphone you have (I'm assuming a shotgun mic of some sort?) either a fixed shock mount or an adjustable one will do the job. Happy filming- A
