The Redrock Micro microFilter IR Cut filter (also known as a hot mirror) eliminates infrared wavelengths that can create unwanted color shifts when using neutral density filters with high end digital cameras. The microFilter IR Cut filter does not affect visible red wavelengths and provides a sharp cut-off at Infrared wavelengths. As with all Redrock microFilters, the coating is internally sandwiched to eliminate any possibility of coating damage.
