No, I would not recommend this to a friend
I purchased this slide tray to have a larger capacity for my Pacific Image Slide Scanner. In theory it's great-load 100 slides and let it scan away. What I found was that the scanner didn't "index" properly with it and some slides were skipped. That doesn't occur with the straight 50 slide trays. I want to insure that all slides are scanned every time and with this 100 slide tray that doesn't happen.
