does what it says. I use a 4gb SDHC card, works like a charm. Come'on guys...its[$] bucks, worth every penny. Of course there could be 10,000 more upgrades, but it works as intended. I use my harmony remote. they have vmate device on their website. I am buying another one for my technologically challenged father.

Bought it as a present. Apparently the remote is very difficult to use, and the end quality is iffy. The concept is great, I hope they release a better version and I will buy one for myself.

1- size, design, and recording time, are good,
the price is good. But:
2- if you lose the remote control you lose the
whole thing, no replacement to any lost part,
the remote control !, and the ir part.
3- the remote control is too small.
4- you cannot pause recording, you have to stop
and record again
5- you cannot edit recorded shots, either you
keep the whole segment, or delete it.

This product is poorly designed and defective. The SD card slot contacts were intermittent, the product is not SDHC compatible (as advertised), the IR remote operated unreliably, and the IR Emitter would not operate a satellite receiver unit. [*] unworthy of the SanDisk labeling.
