Extending the legs was a little difficult because the locking mechanism was rather tight. Hopefully, it loosens and becomes smoother with age.

I am using this for a backyard theater that I have set up. It is very stable and has a large enough platform that setting a large projector on it is reasonable. I chose this one for it's price and adjustable legs, a flat, balanced surface for your projector can be achieved by adjusting the legs to the varied heights of the ground. After you are finished it stores away easily and in a very compact format, it is also very easy to transport from location to location with it's briefcase style handle.

With the exception of the leg supports breaking very easily, I like this stand and would recommend it for power point use.
