Tried recording some of the shows that come on FX or HBO and the player will not let you record them. Comes up as a copy right program and cannot record them. Useless device unless you are looking to record the news. DON'T BUY!!!!!!!

Bad humming in audio, Doesnt upscale to 1080, Over heats after 1 day, Poor video quality, Standard vcr looks better
Best Uses:
Boiling water, DOOR STOP, Paper weight, Removes finger prints, Use as space heater, You can fry eggs on it

Worked ok on first day. (Bad picture)
Loud humming started in tv audio second day (caused by over heating) After cooled down humming went away until it overheated again 10 minutes later. Couldnt turn it off. Had to unplug it. Returned andd exchanged it. Second one was much worse then the first one.
