Comments about Nikon Nikon 8 x 25 Sportstar, Compact Weather Resistant Roof Prism Binocular with 6.0 Degree Angle of View, Black Rubber Armored, U.S.A:

OK, so I own an old pair of Nikon armored binocs and love them. I use them for sailing, for sports events (I am a seasons ticket holder with Washington Redskins) and anytime I need to take a closer look while shooting photos professionally. But my wife needed a pair of binocs for the Skins games, so I started looking. I bought her these 8x25s and she loves them, they are light and even though they are 8x25 they are bright enough all but the dimiest events. We used them at a recent Paul McCartney concert and they were a dream, so light weight they were like nothing around your neck.

I think I will be using this supurb light weight pair anytime I need them and can get away with it.
