Comments about Bushnell Bushnell 10 x 42 Legend, Waterproof Roof Prism Binocular with Rainguard Coating, with 6.1 Degree Angle of View, U.S.A.:

I searched long and hard to find a set of binoculars that were: Very reasonably priced, yet high in quality, waterproof, shockproof, fogproof, have very good close-focus capability (about 6.5 feet), crystal clear views, have fully multi-coated (FMC)lenses and the lenses are also PC-3 phase-coated, and have (Bushnell's) rain guard. I did not want to spend more than $250 - $300. I found the perfect product, the Bushnell Legend, Roof Prism 10x42 binocular. [...] delivered the binoculars to me in short order and I am very happy with the Bushnell product. The FOV is 315 at 1,000 yds. I recommend these to anyone searching to get the most binocular for your money. At the same time I also bought the Barksa 10x42 Huntmaster Binocular, which I like very well (not as much as the Bushnell ones, but the Barkska only cost $120). The Barska ones I bought in 8x42 and wish I had spent $139 and bought the 10x42 size instead. However, that is not a fault with the Barska Binoculars at all. The are just not quite as powerfull as the 10x42 size. The Barska binouclars are close to the quality of the Bushnell Legend Binocular. The Bushnell Bincoulars came with a better strap and pouch than the Barska did and the Bushnell ones have the rain guard (a proprietary Bushnell thing).
