The case seemed small when if arrived but it did meet the specs and my Lowrance I-Way 500 with all the connections (power/speaker unit) and windshield connector did fit into the case. It is a tight fit but I am happy it is so compact and cushioned. I usually disconnect my unit when I leave the but was always concerned about damaging the unit and now I feel more secure.
