Comments about Nikon Nikon 8 - 24 x 25 EagleView Zoom, Weather Resistant Porro Prism Binocular with 4.6 Degree Angle of View at 8x, Black, U.S.A.:

Although I purchased this as a gift, I gave it a test drive before wrapping. I found these binoculars very easy to use, very sharp, very well constructed, light, and comfortable to hold. I like the clever lens cap design with the integrated holder. Unlike every other lens caps on earth, these should not get lost. The only downside is that at the maximum magnification, the image is dark. I believe that is an unavoidable function of the physics of the small size optics. Getting a brighter image probably requires bigger lenses, and then this would no longer be a compact design!

As a pair of 8X binos, these are great. The fact they zoom, very easily to 24 X, makes them exceptional. Easy to locate the object, then zoom in for close up.

Comments about Nikon Nikon 8 - 24 x 25 EagleView Zoom, Weather Resistant Porro Prism Binocular with 4.6 Degree Angle of View at 8x, Black, U.S.A.:

I bought the binoculars for travel and cruising. They are perfect for travelling. With brilliant resolution and clarity they have all the features of larger bins without the weight. The belt clip on the soft case was especially appreciated while travelling. These are great value and I recommend to all.Especially pleasing was the service from Adorama.[...] all the way to Adelaide Australia. Less time than it takes the post to deliver a letter across the city. The exchange rate to Aussy dollars provided saving of approx 45%.

Comments about Nikon Nikon 8 - 24 x 25 EagleView Zoom, Weather Resistant Porro Prism Binocular with 4.6 Degree Angle of View at 8x, Black, U.S.A.:

Very good optical quality at 8x-12x magn., but very poor at 24x.
For that price I consider this product as great binos as i do not need 24x magnification for casual bird watching

Comments about Nikon Nikon 8 - 24 x 25 EagleView Zoom, Weather Resistant Porro Prism Binocular with 4.6 Degree Angle of View at 8x, Black, U.S.A.:

Good pair of binoculars to take to the theater, the circus or to the ballgame. At the circus I noticed that the glass reproduces very warm colors, which is exactly what you need to enjoy all those colorful clows. At the ballgame, just zoom in to see the action up close, you won't miss a thing. Cons: it is not unstable, but do you expect? this is not a [$]set of binoculars

Comments about Nikon Nikon 8 - 24 x 25 EagleView Zoom, Weather Resistant Porro Prism Binocular with 4.6 Degree Angle of View at 8x, Black, U.S.A.:

It works well. I wanted a compact binocular that would serve double-duty for day-to-day use as well as for opera, symphonies, etc. Zoom and focus work well. Easy to use with glasses (or without). Not topo large for theater use.
