Fits nicely into a camera bag (or guitar case),,, Takes care of excessive moisture & it's reusable after properly drying it out in the oven..
This stuff just plain works! I use it in all of my camera cases -- and also in our fireproof safe. These safes use a dense gel to makes them fire safe -- which also makes them incredibly humid inside. We found this out the hard way, when some important documents became moldy after just a few weeks inside our safe.
My product came in a package with instructions printed on the outside, which state:
When the crystals are BLUE the desiccant is active
When the crystals turn PINK it's time to reactivate the crystals as follows:
Place unit in vented 300-degree oven for 3 hours (or until crystals turn blue again). Hydrosorbent crystals can be reactivated indefinitely for a lifetime of protection.
No instructions on how to remove moisture from the product. What color should tell you when to remove moisture? How do you remove the moisture? I would like some information.
