Well made scope. Image quality was impressive for size and cost. Using the go-to function takes considerable practice and is a developed skill. Although I love it, I do need to point out it does not keep time (I added the atomic clock part the next week) and only includes a 26mm super plossl eye piece. I would recommend budgeting for 2 extra lens and if your clock needs it, the atomic clock add-on.

I have been dealing with meade and they are great. I've replace the hand box, the LNT, and about to send in the scope. The scope is built well. The Tripod is built well. Never could get the finder to display the red dot it never found north and every time I turned it on I had to set the clock. I have spent three weeks dealing with. I just want see it work.

I like to take occasional sky tours of the Planets, the Moon and Deep space objects like Messier Objects. While I have fairly dark skys, the ETX 90 PE lets me easily transport it to remote locations with clear horizons and dark skies. Optics are high contrast good resolution.
