This is a great (72lb) telescope on a small tripod. Look at the picture! When the weather improves I am going to mount a 4" pipe in cement for my mount. A real tripod that could handle this telescope would cost more than this whole package.

First of all, came incomplete (no eyepiece) and defective R.A. motor, difficult to align, autostar inaccurate, deffective tripod and shaft(it bends), to weak to handle the tube ldx75 6" and mount, confusing instruction manual.Maybe i´ll have to buy a R.C. LX200R to enjoy observing timeand not spent my time working on putting togheter the LDX 75.
