Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I bought this one for my 80ED scope, and got beautiful image of the sun. Orange color, sharp image. The only problem is it has 2 pin point hole - can only visible under special inspect method, but does not affect the image quality at all. It was said it is unavoidable for all kinds of solar filters... I do not know. But I like it very much and hope it will last for life time.
