It doesn't take every shot. It's like it needs more power and is not new batteries. But gets some of the job done, not too bad for its price.
Well dont be confused by the image you see on your screen, its much smaller than it.
Extremely handy tool and powerful and lets you take shots you never imagined.
Now i can always be in those group ohotos where i wished i could be.
This is a very useful tool for selfportrait and for HDR shoot where you don't want move your camera. Perfect!!
Small but solid, clips onto a carry strap so you don't have to remember to pack it.
This is an awesome little gadget. It's almost too small and worry about losing it if I attach it as designed to the strap. If it had a longer timer,...how cool would that be,..?? lol Very functional, reasonably priced and fun to use.
Good remote control! Works great.
Had an RC-1 for a year now and very happy with it. I use it a lot for time lapse stuff because it means you don't have to touch the camera and risk moving it. Original batteries still going strong. Comes with strap clip so that you don't lose it.
In a perfect world it would have an interval timer built in so that you could leave it and it would take a shot every few mins, but Canon don't make one at all for the 350D (my camera), so I guess that's wishing a bit.
This product means the end for the shutter release cable. It does the same job without a wire. Range excellent, reliability excellent, size excellent. Does the job perfectly. Buy it.
The RC-1 remote performs as expected. I have never had to replace the battery (so far). This little device lives on the included snap-on holder, attached to my Digital Rebel's shoulder strap. It has come in handy many times as a remote controller for group shots, or for time-lapse photography. I recommend it!
this product works great, but my canon EOS 7N goes to sleep after a couple of minutes, so the remote will no longer control the shutter when the camera is asleep.
The Canon RC-1 remote is perfect for my needs. It's small, easy to use, and uncomplicated. I love the fact that the clip slides onto my camera strap so the remote is always readily available. It also gives you two options, an instant shot or a 10-second delayed shot. When I have my camera mounted on a tripod for portraits of the kids, using the remote is much easier than having to press the button.

It works 7 out of 10 times. The other times either the distance or the angle was not good enough for the camera to detect it.
It is great for night tripod shots, but you must stand in front of the camera for it to detect the remote.

I use this for some portraits but mostly for taking shots of jewelry for a friends web site within a light box. Has a nice range and the holder clips right to the neck strap for easy access.
