Comments about Canon Canon RS-60 E3 Remote Switch (2') for EOS Rebel Series, Elan Series & Digital Rebel:
I use this instead of the button on the camera, almost always when using the tripod. Seems I cause camera shake just snapping the picture!
Comments about Canon Canon RS-60 E3 Remote Switch (2') for EOS Rebel Series, Elan Series & Digital Rebel:
A must have device anytime your camera is on a tripod for shake free release of the shutter. Another feature of this device is the ability to do long exposures. Reliably does what it's supposed to do.
Comments about Canon Canon RS-60 E3 Remote Switch (2') for EOS Rebel Series, Elan Series & Digital Rebel:
When I first used this it activated the self-timer which was awkward. But the next time it worked just as a shutter click. Have no idea what I did. It is small, light, long cord, and easy to use.
Comments about Canon Canon RS-60 E3 Remote Switch (2') for EOS Rebel Series, Elan Series & Digital Rebel:
Why waste time buying a great camera and tripod and risk camera shake? Get a remote cable release and get the picture you really want.
Comments about Canon Canon RS-60 E3 Remote Switch (2') for EOS Rebel Series, Elan Series & Digital Rebel:
Starting out most of the pictures in my studio are of myself and this has cut my work in half! but I think it should of came with a longer cord for self portraits, but otherwise great! This will be perfect for taking child portraits!!!

Comments about Canon Canon RS-60 E3 Remote Switch (2') for EOS Rebel Series, Elan Series & Digital Rebel:
Works great on any Canon w/ Micr plug. Action is smooth, gives you the half-press. Never misfired. If you're looking for an inexpensive wired remote for a Canon, don't mess around, just get this one. Only drawback is it's plastic. Haven't bashed it yet so don't know how sturdy it will be, but since I've been nice to mine, it works like a dream. Used it on G10, Rebel Xt, even worked on old Elan-7 I don't use anymore.
Comments about Canon Canon RS-60 E3 Remote Switch (2') for EOS Rebel Series, Elan Series & Digital Rebel:
You can even take a picture of yourself, just use a tripod and show somebody, how to hit the button on the remote.
By the way, I've never had any problem with Adorama Camera.
Comments about Canon Canon RS-60 E3 Remote Switch (2') for EOS Rebel Series, Elan Series & Digital Rebel:
I wish I could find an extension cord for this device. It has a 2.5mm connector. I may make my own. There will be plenty of times when 2 feet just isn't long enough. A 20 foot extension would be ideal.
Comments about Canon Canon RS-60 E3 Remote Switch (2') for EOS Rebel Series, Elan Series & Digital Rebel:
Used with camera on a tripod to take several photos in rapid succession. Want to try it out with bulb mode for long exposures.
Comments about Canon Canon RS-60 E3 Remote Switch (2') for EOS Rebel Series, Elan Series & Digital Rebel:
I use this switch when taking product photos. I place the camera on a tripod so I can work on the placement of the subject and the switch allows me to take clear pictures without worrying about shaking my tripod when pressing the shutter. It works really well. I originally intended to use this for night photography and I will try that soon...
This works really well and should be a part of every photographer's toolkit

Electronic remote switch works same as Nikon's for their cameras. Great! There is no provision for a mechanical shutter release.

Comments about Canon Canon RS-60 E3 Remote Switch (2') for EOS Rebel Series, Elan Series & Digital Rebel:
I do a lot of nighttime architecture stereo photo sets mostly using only available light. I have an Canon EOS Rebel Xsi. Even when using a tripod, unacceptable shake and movement occurred when releasing the shutter manually. This movement caused a lot of unusable shots due to camera movement of shake. After purchasing this very small and inexpensive item and it solved all of these problems. Wonderful!

This is essential in using your camera on a tripod! The tripod is only half of the stability. It is a deffinite must!

This is a great remote for anyone who likes taking photos but is on a limited budget. It is very easy to use, just plug it in and start shooting. I would recomend this remote to anyone who wants to take long exposure pictures or macro pictures and wants to get rid of camera shake. Simply plug it into the camera and it is ready to go.

Comments about Canon Canon RS-60 E3 Remote Switch (2') for EOS Rebel Series, Elan Series & Digital Rebel:
Formerly known as a "cable release," this "Remote Switch" is mandatory for tripod mounted digital cameras to avoid camera shake at low shutter speeds and/or timed exposures.
However, you'll also need to acquire the Remote Wireless shutter release to more easily include yourself in a photo.

Comments about Canon Canon RS-60 E3 Remote Switch (2') for EOS Rebel Series, Elan Series & Digital Rebel:
The Canon RS-60 shutter release for Canon EOS cameras works very well.
Comments about Canon Canon RS-60 E3 Remote Switch (2') for EOS Rebel Series, Elan Series & Digital Rebel:
It used to be called cable release, now it's called a remote switch. Be that as it may, you need one to minimize camera shake. Or you may want to be a distance from the camera when the shutter is released(great for portraiture when you have to prompt for smiles and you don't want to be hidden by the camera). I've even use the remote in certain hand-held situations, and of course always when the camera is on the tripod.
