I have used this prooduct with Canon 50D, 7D and 5D MII cameras with good results in all cases. The battery for the remote transmitter is a little hard to find but is used with some car remotes and other applications. The product works as advertised and I purchased a 2nd one as I lost the transmitter for the first unit I have had for a couple of years.

Received as a gift and was very excited to use it. The transmitter does not work. I hope it's because of a dead battery; but it uses an odd 12V 23A battery that is not readily accessible. The receiver did not come with batteries but requires to AAA batteries - at least the LED lights on it.
