I use it with my new Nikon D300 to trigger my camera on tripod to shoot birds and other wildlife remotely

You should be aware that I have to use tape to hold the battery compartment(s) closed to prevent the batteries from falling out.
Operating range is proably greater than stated.

Worked for three shoots involving 100 images each. Now it has a mind of it's own. Tried new batteries, frequencies, etc. I had low expectations, but this has fallen below that.

range is not what is advertised, closer to 50 ft. Still playing with it at different freq's. Also changed the batteries to see if it will increase range

The device was not functional. Worked at home a couple of times and never worked on the field. A big disappointment.

Worked fine for the first 30-40 shots at one session. Two weeks later the product had a mind of its own, sporadic operation. I had to remove the product and shoot manually.

Works well as a remote trigger, but range with clear line of sight is only about 30 feet.

I have used this traveling and with long exposures. I have been very happy with the product.
I regret that I had to return this device because it simply was not functional. When I pressed the remote, the shutter only fired a small percentage of the tries. It would not fire all all through a glass window. I tried it for three weeks, changing batteries and in different situations. Altogether a big disappointment. [...] I think I will be more careful with purchases in the future and try to do more research and avoid having to lose money on a return.
