No, I would not recommend this to a friend
This Canon productis a long way from being user friendly. Poor connectivity unless you are using their top end cameras (I use a 20D). No mention of needing a wireless router system connected to your laptop to use it!!! Miserable instructions. Expensive.

NO Battery INCLUDED
After attending a recent show in NYC with Monte Zucker and Eddie Tapp, I purchased the Canon WFT-E1 only to find after having it shipped to Bermuda that there is NO BATTERY included. After spending in duty shipping plus the cost (over 1,200.00) I was really disapointed to find out I need to purchase a battery. For this price, Canon should include one.
