While the concept is great, especially for outside shoots, the product isnt worth the money. Within a week I lost the eye cap[...]. Within three weeks both doors broke off because of flimy construction.

The eyepiece detaches far too easily and I eventually lost it. With the shade in the open position it's very difficult to look in the viewfinder, which means constantly opening and closing the shade to check shots on the LCD screen. It's even less effective when camera is rotated for a portrait view.
Why didn't Nikon think of this?

Allows me to view histograms in all ambient light conditions. Wouldn't leave home without it.
