The Leica Digital Adapter-2 allows you to easily connect your compact Digital camera/camera phone to a Leica Televid spotting scope, and use it to take photographs through the scopes eyepiece. The use of the digital adapter merely requires coupling the camera to the scope without removing any parts or lenses from the camera or scope. Assembly,and use took 10 min right out of the box! I was pleased with the fact it was compatible with cameras other than Leica"s, and produced good photos (nature/birding) with minimum effort. I thought it was a bit pricey but would still recommend it based on its solid construction and performance.
