Just a replacement eyecup. I have no idea how my original came off my camera and was lost, but somehow it did, and I needed a new one. Fits fine - OEM (Nikon) replacement so its as good as the original.

Lost the original eyecup from my D70. This one designed for the D70s fits perfectly and is secured much better due to redesign.

Like the previous reviewer, I also found my standard D70 eyecup (DK-10) on the bottom of my photo bag several times. Until I finally lost it.
The DK-20 has a larger rubber eyecup and a plastic frame where it attaches to the camera (the DK-10 is an all-rubber design). I've been using it for over a year and it has not come off a single time, which clearly speaks of the better design.
I understand that this eyecup (DK-20) is standard issue on the D70s -- kudos to Nikon on that. If you have a D70, you'll find that the DK-20 is 100% compatible, too, and a better option to the standard eyecup.

After finding the stock D70 eyecup in the bottom of the camera bag a few times, I finally lost it.
Replaced it with this one and it has not come off once.
