I use this with the E-510 for evening and night shots for longer exposures. It's easy to use and eliminates shake from pressing the shutter botton. It's also great for getting me into the shot, for a change.

The remote is everything I hoped it would be. It's easy to use and small enough to carry in a shirt pocket. It's great for including yourself in a family group shot. Just put it on the 2 second delay and you can hide the remote at your side so it's not seen in the photo.

When you want to be in the picture, this is the tool to have. Using with a delay timer gives you time to hide the remote.

Best Uses:

Describe Yourself:

Bottom Line:

I got this to take photos where I would be in the shot. The downside to this remote is you have to point the remote at the front of the camera to use it. This works okay if you are taking photos of yourself (if you can do it at an angle where you dont see yourself holding it). I was thinking of using this in the studio for macro shots so I didnt shake the camera but I would have to hold it over the top of the camera and point it at the sensor.
