After waiting forever for the genuine Panasonic battery, I opted to let Adorama send me their "replacement for .." I charged the battery and slipped it into the camera only to see THIS BATTERY CANNOT BE USED in the viewfinder. It would seem this is NOT a replacement for the Panasonic ID-Secured battery and CANNOT be used if you have the lastest firmware.
