My Flashpoint LP-E6 Replacement Battery got light use for less than one year and is now completely dead. It will not take a charge. It doesn't even make the lights on the charger light up. I estimate I had less than 30 days use on the battery before it died.
While it worked, I had no complaints about the battery. My Canon 7D reported a genuine Canon E6 was installed and reported the charge percent without a glitch.
This battery had a sudden death. I expected performance to get slowly worse over time but that didn't happen. It worked fine on one walkabout and then not at all on the next. Becasue there was no warning for the failure I can't recommend this product.

I purchased 2 of these about 3 months ago. On trying to charge in Canon charger, neither would charge at all !

First battery failed completely.
Second battery is OK, functions normally, but capacity is lower than the Canon battery. It took three weeks for the battery exchange with Adorama. I'll only purchase the LP-E6 Canon battery in the future.

I've had this battery a year, and it never did hold a charge or last as long as the OEM battery from Canon. At this point, if I let it set for 3 or 4 days, I'm down to about 50% charge, and even with a full charge, I'm getting maybe 30 or 40 percent of the battery life I am with the OEM battery. Save your money on this, and buy the Canon battery. It will be worth the additional cost.

I had the same problem with the battery having to be forced out of the camera. If you are going to spend the money on a nice camera, spend the xtra money that will guarantee you wont break the camera because you tried to save $30 on knockoff battery

I bought two of these for use with a 5D MkII and noticed that the Canon batteries slipped in and out without a problem... these fit it snug, but wouldn't come out without prying on them by sticking my finger/screwdriver inside the camera.
Otherwise, the Canon chargers tackled the Canon batteries without an issue, but wouldn't charge one of these... blinked fast overnight... I returned them and paid for a set of Canon's... just not worth it.
