Got these batteries on the recommendations of the previous 2 reviews, only to discover that these batteries do NOT always work in Canon Cameras. Charged them for 24 hours, but when the battery went into the camera, the cameras would not power on for more than 1 minute ~ and showed the battery to have 25% charge ~ also displayed message that battery needs charging. Then charged them for 48 hours, same effect. THANK goodness Adorama stands 100% behind their products, and they paid for return shipping and gave full refund. Suspect that Canon programs their equipment to accept only original OEM batteries, so that they can charge an arm and a leg for their batteries.

I purchased another inexpensive replacement battery for the Canon's NB-3L about a year ago and it was worthless, literally. [...] I swore I would only purchase brand name batteries henceforth. That is, until I saw that Adorama liked this one enough to associate their name with it. I bought two and took them on a wilderness hiking adventure with me the day after they arrived. I was not disappointed.They held their charge as long or longer than the Canon battery that came with my camera. I'm very pleased and would purchase this replacement battery again should the need arise.

I bought this battery for my Canon PowerShot SD 550 rather than spending double for the Canon brand. I have the Canon battery and now the Adorama brand, and I can't tell the difference. The Adorama works just as good as the Canon, hold the charge and charges up fast. I am happy that I spend a lot less for a very good quality battery.
