I use this with a Canon SX30.I have found it to work as well as the original. Nice build quality and fits as well as the Canon brand.

I bought this after getting a Adorama brand battery for my 50D which is = to the Canon battery.
This one was for my G-11 it lasted 28 shots and then was stuck in the camera and I had to get creative to get it out. I ended up attaching a small handle to the the battery with fast setting epoxy so that I could pull it out.

My recent purchase of a Canon PS G-11 prompted me to get this battery along with the original instead of the manufacturers extra battery at a nice savings. This battery performs as well as the Canon original, charges in the same amount of time and has the same life span.

Question; Why pay more for the same product if you don't have to?

Buy the battery of your choice.

My choice was this battery and I do not regret it, you won't either.

It is good but the original Canon battery lasts much longer... But is a good back-up!!!

No down time at all. When you have used one battery for a while, just change to the second battery and recharge the first.
