This is a great charger that let's you charge 2 batteries at once either from a standard or in your car with the--included--car charger adapter.
You can buy different battery modules and charge different types of batteries at once. For instance I can charge one Nikon D200 battery and 4 AA batteries at the same time (just have to purchase various modules compatible for your battery). Or, 2 Nikon batteries at once. I also take a point-&-shoot digital for quick casual shots while traveling and this charger eliminates taking 2 (or 3) differnt chargers on a trip, so you're eliminating a lot of bulk. The modules are small and light as well. Highly recommended.

The photo of this product is Deceptive!!! The charging plates do indeed work as advertised and fit the batteries for my Nikon D300, Canon SD800i and Canon SD400. What is MISSING from the picture/description is a huge "brick" power supply that is required to use the piece that is in the photo. The unit weighs more and takes up more space than my three indiidual chargers combined!!! Stay Away!!!
