I purchased this camera with the immediate intention of taking pictures of things I wanted to sell on Craigslist. To my dismay, I am unable to download pictures to my computer. When researching the problem using the abbreviated manual that comes with the camera (you'll have to print your own FULL manual from the CD and either carry it or your computer around with you if you require involved reference material while taking pictures away from home) one of the more glaring issues is the system requirement of "512Mb RAM". As recommended by others, I removed the Canon Software and just plugged the camera into the USB hoping to use a Windows application, no joy. I also double checked to make sure the memory card tab was not in the protect position. So, now I don't use the camera at all. [...]
