We bought this camera a year and a half ago for our 10 yo daughter to take to summer camp. It came back scuffed up some, but she had some pretty good pictures as keepsakes. It has since been on a half dozen or so hiking, camping and school field trips, picking up dents and dings along the way, but has never missed a beat. Small screen, battery life a bit short, but easy to use, good point-and-shoot pics, and rugged. A little gem for the money.
