I bought this camera for my wife, but even so, I have used it several times. I found the operation of this camera to be very easy even without reading the instructions. It's her camera, so I left that up to her. Picture quality is excellent and having a traditional view finder as well as the LCD live view is great. However, the price was the clincher-very good price.

I use this product on almost a daily basis, whether it's taking a quick shot of me and some friends or taking a pro- looking picture, I can always count on my Cannon Power shot camera. I love how easy it is to use and all the different photo option are really fun to experiment with. However, there is often a lag time, where "busy" and an hourglass is shown at the bottom of the scrren. Other than that, I think this is a great digital camera, and deffinatly the best I've ever had.

This is a wonderful little camera, small in size but with an extensive number of controls. The quality of the images is excellent. It's tempting to replace my SLR with this small wonder.

I bought this camera for my sister for Christmas; needless to say, I've been tempted to steal it from her! This is the first really compact digi-cam we've purchased - and, so far, I want another one!

As an amateur photographer, I'm afraid I can't give you my opinion on various technicalities. However, as a casual user, I can tell you what I think: I think this camera is brilliant. The zoom is magnificent, it's easy to use, the quality is great, and the camera is sturdy (unfortunately, it has already been dropped several times). Even those who have never really used a digital camera before will easily figure out how to work this one.

Just a note: when you buy this camera (in whatever color you like best!) buy a memory card with it. Like with all cameras, the default chip isn't big enough.
