I loved it right out of the box. The resolution is fantastic. It is compact with the Underwater housing. A "no brainer" to figure out,use and take great underwater photos in the low light water of Puget Sound.

I have had all makes and models of digital cameras [...],But I have to tell you that this Exilim Z1000 has NEVER made a bad photo! We went to Costa Rica last month, and out of 3 couples and 3 totally different cameras, my Exilim beat them all in clarity, colors, accuracy, and not 1 photo lost for any reason. The professional camera of the 3 was the WORST photography! So bad were the pix that he went out and immediately purchased this camera for themselves!
