I managed to break the liquid crystal display the first day I had it. And, I don't even know how I did it. The camera was just laying on the car seat next to me. This is one fragile camera. If you get one be sure to get and use a HARD case for it. I have been an active photographer for more than 50 years and this is the first camera that has needed to be repaired. I have owned more camera than I can remember so I do know how to handle and to use them. This is a poorly engineered camera for the 'carry it around' use for which the Fuji marketing people tout it. And, Fuji does not stand behind the product; no matter how poor their design they claim I mishandled it. My 8 years old boys have each had a coolpix for the past 18 months and they have not been able to break them. Their are a lot of digital camera out there, this Fuji is not one of them.
