I bought this camera to replace my older Olympus, which did not have an excellent quality image. I'm very disappointed with this camera. 5 out of 10 pics don't get focused, even when the camera's auto-focus tells you to shoot.
When I compare the images I'm getting with the ones other friends get, I can hardly believe how poor this thing is. When I say out of focus is not to be confused with a shaken picture. It's really about lack of focus... really disappointing. I like to photograph guitars and basses and with this camera, it's impossible to get clear details. If the surface has any shine at all, it's very hard. One other detail is the battery: it looses power very quickly.
I do NOT recommend this camera.
