I bought this because I loved the Z710 and thought this would be an upgrade. However, when zooming, it takes too long to focus. Many times it never did focus properly. It doesn't have a viewfinder, which I didn't think would matter after I got it, but it's too difficult to see the picture in sunlight. The other thing that's inconvenient is the lens cap will not stay on well.

for the price you get fine pictures & great features, however it is imperative the use of rechargeable NIMH of high capacity 2100mAh or more.

This Camera's Low Battery Indicator tells you ANY TYPE AA Battery used after some use is Prematurely bad and the Camera Will Not Operate. Sometimes the Lens stays Out and won’t shut because of this. But,... take the Battery's Out and Test Them or Use them in Something Else and their FINE. All Kodak EasyShare Cameras do this. Who designed this thing like this and WHY???!!!
