The quality of the camera is hard to beat. Strong construction, excellent lens. I have other camera's of this type but I find myself using this camera more often than the others. I highly recommend this Leica.

[...] should go for a SLR camera and not a point and shoot. This is the best point and shoot camera in the world. Leica amazes me daily.Cheers leica lovers, another notch in their belt, calls for a party...bring this camera.

A bit expensive for a point and shoot, and not exactly a "pocket" camera. In any case it takes amazing pictures and has a lot of flexible parameters. The 19:6 format is a nice touch and makes for a great addition to a portable camera.

I have has this camera for a few days now and i must say that i am pretty happy with it. Small, silent and good image quality makes this a keeper. I am going to primarily shoot this for BW output so the higher grain in higher ISO works for me just fine. But for color i probably would not want to shoot over 800. I only shoot RAW and it writes rather quickly..around 1.5-3 sec (havent timed it) but the file size is huge..about 20mb, which fills up my 2gb SD card quickly (85 images). Other than that i must say that i will have to shoot more in order to realize the cameras potential and capabilities.

I love this camera. I do find in bright light it is hard to see the LCD. I do miss having a view finder.

in bright outdoor light difficult to focus. so small that not easy for a guy's hand to really use very much. not a simple point and shoot camera. will need to move up a notch to actually get the total camera I prefer
