Lot's of fun. Compact enough to carry in a pocket without any added weight. The lens is great when you cannot get on the ground to get the shot. The color and sharpness is very good. Will recommend to others.

I got this to replace my CoolPix 995 from 2002. Everything is great except for the color (not black), no manual speeds/aperture (or display), and no viewfinder. Silver doesn't cut it at a job site (I know, I know -- image!), and I was disapointed that I couldn't see what the shutter speed was.The twist feature is so good for low or high shots.The quality of the screen and the output was so good that I decided to go back up to (mostly) pro and get the D80. I gave this one to my son for Christmas, and don't regret the purchase at all. --and, I will still use the 995 as a tourist, glove compartment, handy camera.I heartily recommend this S-10 for very, very high quality point and shoot at a reasonable, but not cheap, price. [...] I may buy it again.Now to learn the D-80.

I bought this camera for its compact size and the 10x zoom. I even read some reviews before buying. (Most were very good, but they all had the same cons; NO VIEW FINDER!)
I soon found out that in certain light conditions, you can't see whats on the display. I still like this camera, but would probably buy a different one if I had to do it all over again.
