This camera was a present for my hubby. He took it out or the box and began using it without even looking at the manual. He is a novice and his pics were a good quality, videos clear and sound... not bad. I didn't expect perfection at this price, but the quality was a pleasant surprise. I even bought another for my son.

I bought this for my wife and was very disapointed in the image quality of the photos. The lag time was good, but how does that matter when you can not get a good picture. They always came out unfocused, blurry, or with hot spots from the flash. I expected more from Nikon, seeing I use there professional equipment. I don't even see why Nikon bothered to release such garbage.
