I am sold on Olympus cameras and if you check out the reviews through google or other search engines you will find that most Olympus models are very highly rated by the people who actually own them. I realize that Canon might rank as #1, but Olympus is well made and solid metal and very easy to understand and use. Of course the more you spend in the Olympus line the more you are likely to be impressed, but in the lowest lines of point and shoot I would have to recommend that you highly consider Olympus.
