Both the Olympus OEM battery and the Adorama brand replacement battery are good for only 24 photos before they need to be recharged. I don't know what the issue is, but make sure you have plenty of back-up batteries charged and ready to go. Other than that, the camera is pretty much as advertised by Olympus.
I do like the Waterproof/underwater capabilities.
Miss the view-finder; don't really like composing a photo using the LCD only.
